Almost Graduated

Um, so I haven't posted since March 25th.  I probably have less than 10 entries in this, and I've had it for almost a year.  Pretty sad.  Like devastating.  Anyway, I figured I should say something about graduating since it's such a momentous event and so on and so forth.  I'm glad it's happening.  That's about it.  Not that I didn't enjoy high school somewhat, but I'm kind of excited about college.  Yeah.  These long award ceremonies and banquets are starting to get ridiculous though.  There's so many of them.  I still have two or three more to go to.  Ugh.  Anyway, I think I'm done with this entry.  I don't know how you people write all those long entries that have actual paragraphs.  Truly astounding.  Maybe you all have amazing lives with good writing material...or maybe my life is amazing, and I just don't write about it.  Hmm...I'll leave you wondering about that one...

Peace.

Spring Break...Sort of...

Hello again.  I don't know when the last time I posted was, but it doesn't really matter.  It's spring break, but only sort of because it's not actually a break for AP English students.  They know what I'm talking about.  I have to read Othello and a bunch of other stuff and answer questions (run-on sentence...forgive me).  I can't even spell some of the names in the characters in Othello, but I have to write about it?!  Crazy if you ask me.  I also have a huge science project-y thing to do that involves a powerpoint and a presentation.  Public speaking is not my favorite thing in the world.  Wish me luck.  It's on Saturday.
In other news, I'm at the beach.  Well, sort of.  I'm in a hotel like ten minutes from the beach.  I don't mind because there's a mall walking distance from the hotel :-).  There's tons of those shops that sell beach stuff in bright colors that I never wear.  I did manage to find a navy blue sweatshirt.  Victory!!  Well, gotta go do some work.  See ya later.

This Week So Far...

Well...portfolio assignments are due next week.  I know everyone is already finished with their assignments by now...right??  I've written out most of it, but I still gotta type it all up.  I've been working on that this week.  Has anyone read "The Lottery"?  I did.  That's some scary stuff right there...just plain weird.  Got some scholarship stuff to do by tomorrow.  Woo hoo.   I love scholarship essays.  Today I was a witness in a mock trial.  I can't stand mock trials.  They are torture.  It was like bad acting or something; I read my answers from a sheet of paper.  Terrible.  My major accomplishment so far this week is actually reading sixty-something pages of Hamlet.  I'm pretty proud of myself because Shakespeare is not the easiest stuff to read.  So happy there are footnotes at the bottom of each page; they're saving me right now.  Well, that's all for now.  Until my next post...peace out.

Weekend...Yeah.

I am enjoying this action-packed weekend.  Yesterday I shopped and watched TV.  Sadly, I can't even remember much of what I watched, but I think I enjoyed it.  Today I went to church...surprise!  Then I went and got food, and after that I watched Eddie Izzard do stand-up comedy on the British channel.  I think the channel is called BBCA, but I'm going to call it the British channel anyway.  Good stuff comes on there.
I have no clue what I'm doing tomorrow, but I'm sure it will be just as exciting.

Peace,
Candice

She's back...

There are 52 weeks in a year...at least I think there are.  Anyway, I haven't posted in 23 weeks.  I suppose a whole lot of stuff has happened since I last posted, but I don't feel like going into all of that.  Maybe just the cliff notes version.  August...started senior year of high school.  September...accepted to WVU.  October-January...not much happening there besides school work and a little friend drama here and there.  February...we'll see about that.

I hope anyone who reads this enjoyed my summary of my life since my last post.  I know it was very comprehensive, but if you still have questions, just ask me.

Peace.

School Started Again...

Yeah, I didn't make a first day of school/first week post, so here it is...

It was relatively boring.  No one has changed too terribly much.  The teachers went over a bunch of rules for the year.  That was about it.  I think chamber choir is going to be interesting with the new mix of people, so I'm excited.  English class is going to be cool, I think.  Everything else is just memorization.  The class at Shepherd is math, so I know how that's going to be...Uh, yeah that's about it.

Not as exciting as my usual posts, but I hoped you enjoyed that rambling.

Here I Am!!

Yeah, I haven't posted in the longest time, but I haven't really got anything big to talk about.

I only have four classes this year (yay!).  One class at Shepherd.  Yeah, I'm not posting my schedule, so just ask me about it whenever I'm online.

Since I went to Costa Rica I've been all over the place.  I went to New York City where I saw The Color Purple and looked around the Metropolitan Museum of Art (which I loved).  I went to this one cabin in the middle of nowhere.  We rode horses and basically relaxed.  Then I did nothing at home.  Yesterday I just got back from my grandmother's house were I did more of nothing, but it was awesome; my grandma and my aunt are hilarious.  Somewhere in there I turned seventeen...so I'm expecting presents when we get back to school (lol).  That was basically my summer.

Wow, I think that was the longest post I've had so far.  Score!

Peace,
C

Hey Everybody

Hello all.
Haven't had the time to post in a while, but I thought it would be really awesome if I posted now.  I'm in Costa Rica :-).  It's pretty sweet, and I'm improving my Spanish tons.  I'm in Spanish classes like four hours a day.  So far we've visited waterfalls, a market, and today we're going to a coffee factory.  Well, I hope to post again soon.

Got to keep it short; I'm paying for this.

Later y'all.

For Your Entertainment

Here's some more useless rambling for the only four or so people that read this.  Um, let's see.  Things are about the same, except there's this one guy that's um, yeah.  I'm going to pretend everyone knows what I'm talking about.  It's kind of nice.  So, moving on...

Some people are still jerks, some people are not.  Same, same.  Lately it just seems like some people, especially some of my old friends,  have put me on the backburner for new friends, a boyfriend, etc.  I think it's pretty screwed up, but apparently it's okay in their minds.  Maybe I'll play along...or maybe I'll just let them go.  I'm going back and forth with that.

Yeah, I'll figure it out eventually.

I'm supposed to be doing a math powerwriting, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.  And this one study guide.  And something else...I haven't gotten around to quite a few things actually, but SHHHHH!!  Don't tell...

Well, that's all for tonight.  I hope y'all enjoyed this lovely post.

EDIT:
8:15 p.m.

Hey, look I have a new layout!  I like it.  That's about it.  Have a great night.

It's Been a While...

Yeah, pretty much.  It has been a while.  Um, let's see what's happened since I last posted...uh, nothing really at all.  Well, actually "stuff" has happened, but I'm not sure I really feel like writing about it.  Some people have been jerks, some people haven't.  Some people have been real friends, some people haven't--just the usual.

I didn't go to school yesterday because I was sick...not that anyone really cares.  Today I have to go paint a sign at my church for vacation bible school that has to be done by tomorrow, although I don't really feel like it.  In a little while I have to go get paint for the sign.

The choir concert went fine, I suppose.  I was there...everyone was there.  People cried.  The usual.  Not much else to say about that.

The End.

Nothing Else Better To Do

I am going to tell you about my life since I last posted.  Well, I lied.  I'm going to tell you some of what happened since I last posted; you can't know everything that happened.  I actually finished my notecards on time (woot).  I also took my crazy biology test, and I think I did okay on that.  Now I have a ton of history stuff to do this week, but I did manage to study some.   On Easter, I actually put on a skirt ::gasp::, and that's pretty much all I have to say about that.  My grandma and my aunts came over.  They rock hardcore, just to let you know, so I've just been chilling with them.  Yeah, that's about all I'm going to tell you.

Yeah.

More Random Ranting for Your Enjoyment

Basically I have a lot of work to do over spring break and the next few days.  I don't even know what I'm going to do with it all...except maybe actually work on it.  I have not-that-many index cards at all, and I have other homework due on top of that.  Then there's all this other work I have to do that no one really wants to hear about, which I understand.
Social drama does not help this work overload, not that I have a lot of it.  It's just the fact that I am caught in too many situations indirectly involving me...and, no, I don't expect you to know what I'm talking about.  Don't feel bad; no one really does know what I'm talking about.
In other news, I am very tired and didn't really feel like posting, but I figured I should at least write something on here for your enjoyment.  Yeah.

Man Rant and Randomness

I have decided that boys are clueless and noncommittal; I wish they weren't.  They make me angry for the most part, but I like them at the same time.  I wish they would make up their minds.  And no, I do not expect you to know what I'm talking about.  It's very complicated.
I just got back from church a while ago.  I sang in the choir and drew the pastor while he was talking about communion.  That's about all I have done so far today.  I think I'll work on my English notecards if I can find the paper that tells me what to put on them.  I did do some of the Biology study guide, but I'm still not done--surprise!!  Not really.  I have no clue what the math homework was and I have no book, so yeah, I have to figure that out.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my action-packed life.  Happy April Fools' Day!

Woot

I am very bored, so I decided to post again.  I've noticed that my journal is very plain, and it kind of bothers me.  There's nothing really going on in the layout.  I'll do something about that...later--not that I have anything else better to do.  I am being lazy and savoring my Saturday off from school.  I should probably be working on my Biology study guide, studying for my biology test, doing my 50-index-cards-for-my-research-paper-that-I-haven't-really-started, attempting my pre-calculus homework, or studying for history.  But I'm not.  Why? 'Cause it's a lot of work and I'm tired.
I would love to post something profound and amazing on here, but I'm not feeling that right now.  So far today I have washed clothes, played internet games, talked to people on the internet, and read part of this one book.  Basically, I haven't done jack when I have plenty to do.  Great, isn't it?  I would complain about my drama, but I don't feel like it.  Why?  'Cause that's boring.
That's all that you have to endure hearing about for now.  Maybe I'll give you some more action later.

First Entry

This is my first entry for your enjoyment....well, not really.  Actually I'm not sure what I'm supposed to post or what these journals are about.  I was basically pressured by someone-who-knows-who-they-are into making this journal.  Well, I'll make the best of it.
